Curriculum Overview

Each child who enters Sparks begins with the entrance booklet. This booklet helps them become familiar with the program and teaches several basic Biblical truths. After completing the introduction, children begin the Skipper handbook, which carries the theme “Jesus in the past.” The second handbook is called the Hiker and emphasizes “Jesus in the present.” Finally, the third handbook, the Climber , discusses “Jesus in the future” (with all 3 books following a nature theme). Throughout each handbook, children will learn key memory verses, do crafts, fun activities and drills, and ultimately learn important facts and doctrines of the Bible.
